1.
Reminder that meetings are now the 2nd Sunday of the month.
Jim
2.
Once again, she found out the main frustration of making a no-budget film-just getting people to show up when there's no money or alcohol involved, no matter how many people said they would help.
Tina
3.
Had a walking stick mono-pod he'd made for his camera. He talked about and showed the infrared shots he specializes in.
Corry
4.
Brought a lot of weapon props for the ninjas to use.
Allen B.
5.
Brought his camera, tripod, and cart for tracking and dolly shots.
Stanley
6.
Talked about a short movie he was working on, a love story ghost story shot in miniDV called “letting Go” with 2 crew, 2 actors, 2 sets. Director of Photoraphy was Stan Williams.
Alan
7.
Asked Tina about releasing all the footage made from her script under a creative commons by-sa license.
Okay with her, so mark all your footage accordingly.
Jim
8.
Asked each person that was there what kind of credit they would like to have as far as full names or not (or pseudonyms).
Jim
9.
Had a great idea of shooting the ninja fights as shadows. With some major re-placement of lighting we got some pretty good shots.
Stan W.
10.
Suggested that everyone with sunglasses could be two people, twin against twin.
Jim
11.
Choreographed most of the fight scenes.
Alan
12.
Suggested that this should be entered into the Rocket City Film Festival for this October.

Encouraged others to finish their own work to enter as well.
Jim
13.
That's a wrap for Tina's ninja film.
Tina
14.
Suggests everyone posting their raw footage to www.archive.org
and tagging with the key words: ninjas, raw footage, cc by-sa

That last is Creative Commons, attribution, share-alike.

Which lets anyone edit the footage together and make their own works as long as their works carry the same license.

Using the new Creative Commons publisher 2.04.3 it's really easy to upload after you sign up to the Internet Archive (well, well worth it.)

Preferably in MP2 or MPEG format, since those take less space and are more ubiquitous codecs that can be used for editing. Add any other additional formats you may wish, however.

Jim
15.
The film co-op workshop provides the time and workspace for making a short, short film once a month. Ideally, one every month for each year until we can put DVD anthologies to sell (a minimal percentage will go to the film co-op to cover space rental and equipment [i.e. The green screen, etc.] only, the rest to be split between the directors or production companies)
Jim
16.
Remember to check and post (please, others, post as much as you can, especially about your projects and useful information, like your podcasts or homepages, vlogs, videos, etc.)
filmcoop.blogspot.com
and the livejournal
film co-op community
Jim
