'Bubble' Film coming to the co-op

I just noticed that Sodergergh's 'Bubble' is being shown by the co-op. This is the first of six films using a new simultaneous distribution model. Cool stuff. Here is a link to more info:

Practice Assignment #01

I had an idea for a practice assignment: Film/video one continuous minute of the most boring thing you can think of (i.e. watching paint dry, someone _else_ enjoying a video game or reading, etc.) and make it interesting visually just with edits or color or light changes. Use sound, too, if you need to, but remember the visuals should overpower the sound, not the other way around. The end product should end up being 1 minute, though.
