The moving images section has tons of great public domain footage in the Feature Films, and Prelinger Archives collections.

The Audio section, if you go to open source audio and type in the search box "public domain" you'll get great links to works of ragtime, folk and blues form the beginning o the last century.

The Film Vintage Chest section has some great public domain Betty Boop cartoons.
